Introduction

  What is Data Science?

In simple words, Data science is the extraction of actionable insights from raw data.  It is an interdisciplinary area that uses scientific methods, algorithms, processes, and systems to extract information and insights from noisy, structured and unstructured raw data. Data science is interrelated to data mining, machine learning and big data.

What is Machine Learning?

 Machine learning is a division of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science which emphases the use of data and algorithms to reproduce the way that humans learn, gradually improving its precision. Machine learning is applied in a wide range of applications, such as in medicine, speech recognition,  computer vision,  agriculture, etc. where it is difficult to develop predictably algorithms to perform the needed tasks.
