Master of Science (MSc) Funded Positions in Aquatic Reproductive

At Auburn University, there are two openings for Master of Science (MSc) posts (starting in January 2024). The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (SFAAS) will host the students at the Aquatic Reproductive Physiology lab (PI: Dr. Ian Anthony Ernest Butts). Our lab's long-term research goals aim to aid in the advancement of conservation biology, sustainable aquaculture, and fisheries management.

Eligibility and Qualification Criteria

: 

We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related field • Demonstrated aptitude for goal-oriented work and proficiency with data management tools (such as Excel, Word, and statistical analysis); • Knowledge of aquaculture and fish physiology; • Lab proficiency in physiology and/or molecular biology would be advantageous. Please be specific in the "motivating letter" about your experiences.
