Introduction:
DST has posted a notification on its inspire official
website. The INSPIRE faculty fellowship programme is open for applications,
according to the Department of Science and Technology.
The Department of Science & Technology sponsors and
oversees the innovative project Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired
Research (INSPIRE), which aims to draw talent to science. The main goal of
INSPIRE is to inspire young people in the nation to pursue science as a
creative endeavour, to draw talent to the subject at a young age, and to
thereby create the critical human resource pool needed for bolstering and
extending the Science & Technology system and R & D base.
The program's noteworthy characteristic is that it
disbelieves in holding competitions to identify talent at any level. It trusts
in and depends on the effectiveness of the current educational system for
identifying talent.
Eligibility:
Those who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting
the degree are eligible. However, confirmation of selection for the fellowship
won't come until after the PhD is granted. The maximum age is 32 as of January
1, 2022. The Inspired Research (INSPIRE) Faculty Fellowship plan of the Department
of Science and Technology has welcomed applications from Ph.D. scholars for
fellowship under the Innovation in Science Pursuit programme.

documents to complete the application form.

reference.
Fellowship amount and Duration .
If chosen for the fellowship, the candidate will receive a
monthly stipend of Rs 1,25,000 plus a yearly rise of Rs 2,000. For five years,
a research grant worth Rs 7 lakh will also be awarded annually.
